Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman marble weight in the shape of a truncated sphere; beige colour with some black and green veins; well-polished. It shows little sign of wear, with only one small dent along the round side; the edges of the bases are smoothened. Two dots are incised in the centre of one base and indicate the denomination of the weight, that is, two scripula. The diameter of the sphere is 1.1 cm; the diameter of both bases measures 0.6 cm.
