Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated sphere; black colour with brown marks, well-polished. It shows some signs of wear, with a few scratches along the round side; the body is not symmetrical. The bases are plain. The diameter of the sphere is 2 cm; the diameter of the upper base is 1.1 cm and that of the lower base is 1.25 cm.
