Autoptic examination:
Roman bronze weight in the shape of a truncated sphere. The piece shows little sign of corrosion and wear. On the upper base, there are two letters inserted and made of a different metal; these are a monogram for the Greek diphthong ου (as in οὐγκία) and an A, and indicate the denomination of the weight: it is an Uncia, corresponding to 1/12 of a Libra. A small dot is incised in the centre of both bases. The diameter of the sphere is 1.5 cm; the diameter of both bases measures 0.9 cm.
