Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman basalt weight in the shape of a parallelepiped; black with brown spots, well-polished; it is in fair conditions, with corners smoothened and a few dents and scratches over the entire surface. One of the large faces of the parallelepiped presents a large depression, where the stone appears coarse and brown, and one of the small faces is concave. The object is not perfectly symmetrical.
