Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman bronze weight in the shape of a truncated sphere. The piece presents a few dents and it is heavily oxidized, with green patina all over the body. An inscription, unfortunately not legible due to corrosion, runs as a spiral around the object. One base seems to be inscribed with two letters; also in this case, a correct reading is not possible. The diameter of the sphere is 4.1 cm; both bases have a diameter of 3.3 cm.
