Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated sphere; dark colour, well-polished. It is in fair conditions as it only presents few superficial scratches; the edges of the bases are rather smoothened. The upper base is incised with 6 deep dots, while the lower base is plain. The diameter of the sphere is 3.4 cm; the diameter of the upper base is 1.9 cm and that of the lower base is 2.5 cm.
