Archaeological description
Glass weight. Disc. Colour (Farbe): grün. Iconography: No cross. No wreath.
CPAI III/2: Middle of the 6th - 7th century AD. Eastern Mediterranean. Weight for a gold coin (solidus/20 carat). Glass, 25 x 4 mm; 3.65 g. Inv. no. PMA 2920. Acquired in 2007. Description: Pale-green coloured round weight with a central impression. The cruciform monogram is composed of the letters ME on the left, Θ at the bottom, Γ on the right and  at the top. It can be read as MEΓEΘΙ. Although several weights of this type are known, an archaeological context was not testified.
