Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman basalt weight; black colour, well-polished. The piece is in good conditions, with the edges of the upper and lower bases rather sharp and only minor, light scratches on the body. On the lower base is the label of the previous collection, while the other base presents a number (5̣0̣990) written with a marker and almost erased. The maximum diameter measures 10.9 cm. The diameter of the upper and lower bases is 6.9 cm and 7.4 cm, respectively.
