Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman basalt weight; black colour, with green-yellow veins on one side. The edges of the upper and lower bases are rather smoothened, suggesting some degree of wear. The piece also presents light scratches and, on one base, the glue of an old, and now lost, inventory label is still visible. The maximum diameter measures 8.8 cm.
