Archaeological description
Autoptic examination: Lead weight in the shape of a truncated square pyramid. The top side of the square presents a decorative triangle (in relief). One face has a deep sunk central panel with the legend ΛΕΙ | ΤΡΑ; the other face presents perpendicular lines lightly scratched and bears the inscription Δημητρίου παραφύλακος. On both faces, the inscriptions are in raised letters. The object is in good conditions, with little to no wear or corrosion.
Weiß 2016: Ein schon lange bekanntes Gewicht, das erste von einem Paraphylax. Buchstabenformen: Alpha mit gebrochener Haste, eckiges Phi.
