Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead hemispherical weight, with an iron band passing over the convex dome and only partially external to the lead object. The tips of the iron band come out of the weight base and are particularly sharp and irregular, as if the band were broken: it could have been an iron ring, which served as a handle. The object shows signs of corrosion and it is heavily worn, particularly on one side, so that the base appears elliptical.
